Energy Being – Being Energy

Energy Being – Being Energy

Each of us is like a small battery pack that needs to be recharged often. Sleep and good nutrition help us recharge. Yet the most important waking technique that I have found to recharge is to plug into the Universal Energy Source (some call God), which provides an unlimited source of energy.

Here is a visualization for you to try:

Sit comfortably and close your eyes.

Imagine a brilliant ball of energy/light over your head, and picture your crown opening as you connect to this ball of white light above you. As you inhale, bring the energy or light down through your crown and into your heart.

As you exhale, allow/intend the energy to move to whatever parts are stiff, sore, or just in need of more energy.

Option: If you feel more connected to the earth — as you inhale bring energy up from the earth, from the soles of your feet, through your body, to your heart.  Or you can even combine the two — as you inhale draw energy up from the earth and also down from the heavens through your crown.

We sometimes use this very same exercise to channel energy to others. After you have inhaled and brought the energy down into your heart, exhale and send it out from your heart to another person, place, or situation. Your body will take what it needs first before you send the energy to the other person! Remember to tap into Universal Energy (which is infinite) and NOT USE YOUR OWN ENERGY (which is finite). Sending (or channeling) energy to another person means you both will be more energized!

Another Option to feel even more energized and revitalized: As you are bringing energy in, imagine another seeing an image of yourself, as a hologram, sitting across from you. As you exhale, send the energy from your heart to the hologram image of yourself.

Note: A longer version of this exercise can be found in my book, STOP EATING YOUR HEART OUT, pp. 100-101 – http://ow.ly/ai574

  2. I love this and I'm going to try these Meryl. I have a great deal of trouble with ADD and think these kinds of exercises would help me. I smoked for years trying to fight the confused, tired, and frustrating feels that come from the syndrome.

I thought I replied to this, but I don't see it posted.
Thanks, Lisa–This came from an old energy tip that I sent out years ago. I, too, loved that suggestion because I had forgotten about doing it for myself in that way! LOL

  14. Great post on energy work, Meryl. I get more energy drawing and sending to and from the earth. Grounding really helps me when connecting with Source and sending to help heal others. Thanks!

It's great that you are aware you are more connected to earth. Many of my clients didn't know until we did that exercise. I am an earth sign (Capricorn). Are you?

  15. @sharonoday says:

The greatest thing about your suggested technique is that it reminds us that we do not need to find our energies "within." As we're pushing to achieve X or Y, it's so easy to forget that we're surrounded by supportive energy we can all on! Thanks, Meryl!

  16. Love this quick meditation. I need to use this daily to unplug and rejuvenate. Thanks for sharing.

  17. meryl444 says:

If we forget to tap into Universal Energy Source, we tend to use our own and get depleted. Thanks for commenting, Pat!

  18. Loved the post and especially the visualization. Thanks for sharing.
